FLYGTFlygt Mixers

Compact mixer
The Flygt 4600 series of direct drive, stainless steel mixers provide cost effective mixing solutions for solids suspension and liquid blending.

Submersible mixers have a compact design, which together with Flygt’s installation techniques makes them easy to install both in new and existing tanks.

Slow speed mixers
Gentle mixing of large volumes can be achieved at impressively low power consumption with the Flygt 4410 and 4430 mixers. They are equipped with gearbox and large diameter propeller.

These mixers are frequently used for solids suspenbsion, blending and de-stratification.

Submersible mixing
Apart from the convenient installation, submersible mixers often provide the most energy-efficient solutions compared to other alternatives.

All subersible mixers generate a jet. By utilising the freedom in submersible mixer positioning, the jet is allowed to develop and create an efficient mixing of the entire volume.

Flygt Sewage Pumps

MONITORING AND CONTROL

Intelligent systems for pumps and mixers
At ITT Flygt we produce monitoring and control systems for a wide range of pumps and mixers. Our systems imply lower maintenance costs, reliability, long life and reduced energy consumption.

As well as offering hardware such as pump controllers, sensors, electrical start equipment and cables, we also supply software for running the system. The ITT Flygt AquaView supervision software provides the PC based SCADA know-how.

Our systems can be used to run and monitor applications within sewage treatment, sewage and drainage pumping, and mixing. For more information on these products please refer to Flygt.

MIXED FLOW PUMPS
Flygt’s L series of pumps is designed primarily for pumping raw water, screened waste water, and storm water at medium heads - i.e. 10 to 20 metres.

L-pumps are preferable to centrifugal C-pumps when large volumes are to be pumped or when a more economical installation is required.

The pumps in this series have capacities ranging from 200 to 2,000 litres
per second.

For application in explosive environments, L-series pumpscan be supplied
in EX-approved (explosion proof) versions.

For more information on these products please refer to Flygt.

HORIZONTAL PROPELLER PUMPS
The submersible horizontal propeller pump is designed for pumping large volumes at low head. A smaller pump is required to do the job of a larger conventional pump, (Construction and installation cost is required).

The pump is mounted in front of a hole in the retaining wall between two basins, or in front of a transport pipe. A non-return valve stops back flow during maintenance or pump stoppage.

Typical applications for horizontal propeller pumps are irrigation, water attractions and recirculation within treatment processes. The horizontal propeller pumps have capacities of up to 1700 litres per second.

For more information on these products please refer to Flygt.

Propeller Pumps

Submersible propeller pumps are generally regarded as the best choice for pumping large volumes of water at relatively low heads. Typical application areas for this series of pumps include stormwater stations, sewage-treatment plants, land drainage, irrigation, aquaculture and water attractions.

The pumps in this series have capacities ranging from 100 to 5000 litres
per second.

For more information on these products please refer to Flygt.

SMALL AND MEDIUM CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

The C3000 series of small and medium-sized centrifugal pumps construction
The Flygt’s 3000 Series of small and medium-sized pumps is used in a variety of applications and covers an extensive performance range. They are designed around a modular system whose drive units are the same, but whose hydraulics differ, depending on the application.

The main application area for these pumps is sewage pumping in pumping stations and treatment plants. But they also find wide use in other municipal applications, such as storm-water pumping and irrigation. Additional areas of importance include industrial applications and manure handling in agriculture.

The pumps in this series have capacities ranging from 0 to 500 litres per second.

For applications in explosive environments, most models can be supplied in EX-approved (explosion-proof) versions.

Hydraulic Section
(first letter = pump impeller and volute)

C
The C-pumps are equipped with a shrouded single or multi-channel impeller running in volute. The shape and the size of the channel minimize clogging, and therefore make the pump ideal for waste water containing large solid particles.

D
D-pumps feature a vortex impeller. Pumping results from the impeller inducing a rapidly rotating vortex producing a consequent pressure rise in the liquid. Most of the particles in the liquid thus never come into contact with the impeller, and wear is thereby minimized. The D-pump is mainly used for waste water and sludge containing small or large solid particles.

F
F-pumps have an open S-shaped with hardened cutting edges. A cutting plate is placed at the inlet. Together with the impeller, it chops up long-fibre materials before such materials can enter the pump. Damage that might be caused by solid objects is prevented, either by a shear pin or by an automatic friction clutch.

H
Hydraulic section 5000
Heavy duty three vane impeller manufactured from high chrome or polyutherane. Split volute pump housing with liners permits easy replacement of volute liners.
Hydraulic section H3000
The H-pump impeller is an open or shrouded channel impeller, made of a highly wear resistant cast.

M
The M-pump features an effective grinder assembly. Especially designed for pressure sewage systems. The vortex impeller is fitted with a cutting device at the inlet. All solids are reduced to particles no larger than 5 x 15 mm. The result is a fine slurry that can be pumped through pipes as narrow as 32mm in diameter.

N
Semi-open self-cleaning impeller with high efficiency and for multipurpose use.

For more information on these products please refer to Flygt.

LARGE CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

The C3000 series of large centrifugal pumps
The pumps in the C3000 Series of large centrifugal pumps are used primarily for pumping sewage, waste water, and storm water in municipal stations.

Other application areas for this broad assortment of highly reliable pumps include raw-water handling, agriculture, irrigation and industry.

The pumps in this series have capacities ranging from 100 to 2000 litres
per second.

For applications in explosive environments, C series pumps can be supplied
in EX-approved (explosion-proof) versions.
